I cannot put into words how much i love this serum. I struggled with hyperpigmentation on my face as a result of acne scarring. As a black girl, the hyperpigmentation on my face was very visible. I’ve been using this serum for exactly a week today and i can’t believe how much my skin has changed. My dark sports are fading away and i’m starting to see that my skin tone is evening out a lot more. I wish i could share pictures of how my skin has progressed over the past seven days as i’ve been documenting it. Nevertheless im very impressed with everything about this serum. Its lightweight and has a dropper so its every easy to apply. Delivery was very quick as well. I ordered this product on the 28th October 2024 and received it on the 31st of October 2024. As well as that. the communication whilst waiting for my order and even after i received it was 10/10. If that’s not enough, as a first time buyer i received a discount when purchasing, so if that’s not enough i don’t know what is. I will 100% be purchasing from Skin Cupid again, I love Menos

Great product

Love this product!!! Works really well for my dark spots, not so much on old scarring but even then they appear less noticeable. If ur skin isn’t a big fan of other brands 10% niacinamide you might not like this but personally I’ve tried other brands TXA and my skin didn’t like it either but it loves this so honestly don’t let that deter u. Just bought my second bottle from boots instead of stylevana as it’s quicker than buying it straight from Korea. Not sure why others are saying it’s fake, it’s ridiculous to think a company like boots would sell a fake product. Comparing the packaging of this and the Korean one I had bought there are slight differences but this is just to comply with local labelling laws so obvs going to be some differences, but definitely not fake!!

I saw a lot of reviews saying it is giving breakouts. Actually niacinamide is known as ‘jack of all trades but master of none’. So using it alone will not give any special effects suddenly. But the transexamic acid in it will help post acne scar fading. The formula is a bit thick, so can be not ideal for first users. You need a simpler formula for your skin to get used to and then jump into 10%. I too have a really bad acne prone oily skin. I used a 5% niacinamide serum for almost 6 months for my skin to get used to it and then started this one. Initially had a few breakouts, I might call it purging. Then it started to show the effect. My acne scara are fading slowly but beautifully.Give your skin time to rejuvanate. Please don’t rush.

Did not work for me

I have oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin. I order the product after seeing the hype. It didnt fade any marks but rather caused more acne and aggravated my hormonal acne. I started it slowly, one time in a day for a few days and then slowly added to AM routine as well. In day time i would use Jumiso waterfall hyaluronic (am,pm), followed by this, then Inkey List Vit c on/off, Byoma moistroiser then sunscreen SuperGoop Matte one.At night, I used Faceshop light cleansing oil, Simple witch hazel s=daily skin detox facewash, jumiso, Anua, and then bioma. Sharing routine for reference. I followed this for a month but had to stop because of acne breakout!
